New Orleans - 300 kbits gratuit...

La ville de New Orléans a choisi EarthLink pour la mise en place d’un réseau Wifi couvrant la ville. Earthlink fournira un accès à 300 kbits gratuit (sans publicité) durant la reconstruction de la ville et les services payants d'Earthlink. Le réseau sera ouvert à d'autres ISP.

La solution technique est basée sur les solutions Mesh de Tropos et de backhaul de Motorola (Canopy).
